Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Rava or semolina: 1/2 cup
  2. Gram Flour: 1 tsp
  3. Onion: 1 big size
  4. Green chilli: 1, fine chopped
  5. Curd: 1/4 cup
  6. Water: few drops if needs
  7. Salt : as per taste
  8. Oil : for cooking

Instructions

  1. First take rava or semolina in a bowl. Add gram flour, curd salt and green chilli. Make a batter. If needed add few drops of water. Don't make running batter.
  2. Now peel onion and cut its root. Cut onion into wide slice of ring. Put wide big slices of ring of onino apart and cut rest of onino slices or pieces into fine chopped.
  3. Add fine chopped onion in batter and mix well
  4. Now take nonstick frying pan and heat it on gas stove. Add few drops of oil. Put wide big slices of onion ring on this. Now with the help of spoon, put some batter in between onion ring. Repeat same process with other onion rings.
  5. Now cover frying pan. After 5 mintues, turn the onion ring bowl and cook both sides.
  6. Now rava Appam in onion bowl is ready. Serve it with your favourite chatani.
