ABOUT Onion Kulcha RECIPE

Soft and delicious stuffed onion kulchas which can be served with some spicy curry on the side.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Flour - 1 kg
  2. Curd - 1 bowl
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Kasoori methi - 1 cup
  5. Finely chopped onions - 4
  6. Chopped green chilies - 2
  7. Butter - 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Take a big container and make the dough by adding flour, kasoori methi and curd.
  2. Cover the dough with a muslin cloth and keep it for about 30 minutes.
  3. Add salt, green chilies and onions to a bowl and keep it away.
  4. Make some small balls of the dough and fill the onion mixture into the balls. Flatten them by the help of a rolling pin and put it on the tandoor or in the cooker.
  5. Add butter to the kulcha and serve it.
