ABOUT Paneer Kulcha RECIPE

It's a famous crisp and soft leavened bread stuffed with paneer, keema or potatoes.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. All purpose flour - 2 Cup
  2. Yogurt - 4 tsp
  3. Baking soda - 1 tsp
  4. Salt to taste
  5. For Filling - Oil 1tsp
  6. Paneer - 11/2 cup, grated
  7. Onion - 1 large, chopped
  8. Cumin seeds - 1tsp
  9. Chilli powder - 1tsp
  10. Coriander leaves - 1/2cup
  11. Dry mango powder - 1tsp
  12. Salt to taste
  13. Butter/ghee put on kulcha

Instructions

  1. First take a bowl add flour ,baking soda, yogurt and salt mix well. Make a dough by using warm water. Now put it aside for 30 minutes
  2. Now take a pan, heat oil, add cumin seeds and when they crackle stop add garlic paste. Saute and then add onion, cook until brown.
  3. Add chilli powder, coriander powder mix well. Add paneer mix well add salt dry mango powder and coriander leaves. Cook for 2 minutes and the stuffing is ready.
  4. Soften the dough and make small balls. Take one ball and fill the stuffing. Roll it into a round shape with a rolling pin.
  5. Heat pan put kulcha on it. Cook from both side. Add butter to it and cook all the kulchas like this. Serve hot with chickpea curry.
