Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 250 gm Tindora
  2. 2 onion medium size
  3. 1 tomato
  4. Kaju 7-8
  5. 1 tspn cumin
  6. Bay leaves 1-2
  7. Asafoetidiya 1/2 Teaspoon
  8. Green chillies chopped 2
  9. Garlic Cloves 5-6
  10. Ginger half inch
  11. Turmeric powder 1/4 tspn
  12. Red chilli powder 1/2 tspn
  13. Garam masala 1/4 tspn
  14. Coriander powder 1 tbsn
  15. Salt per test
  16. Homemade malai or fresh cream 1 tbsn
  17. Kasuri methi 1/2 tspn
  18. Fresh coriender leaves handful
  19. Oil for fry

Instructions

  1. Wash, rinse and drain the Tindoras. Chop off the ends and cut them into thin slices lengthwise.
  2. Deep fry Tindora by turning them in Kadhai few times. As they wrinkle up, remove from oil and set on paper towel.
  3. Keep it aside
  4. Now Roughly chop onion and tomatoes. put them into a pan and also add Kaju.
  5. Cooking for a further 5 minutes and add ,half cup water and boil 15 minutes so all the ingredients will be soft and cooked through.
  6. Let it cool down for a while. *Now Add tomato +onion in a mixer jar & also add ginger garlic & green chill
  7. Make a smooth paste
  8. Now Heat a Kadhai and add 2 tbsn of oil and add Asafoetida ,cumin ,bay leaf and saute, till it turns aromatic.
  9. Furthermore add prepared onion tomato paste and saute for 5 minutes ..
  10. Add spices like chilli powder,turmeric,coriander powder,garam masala,salt saute for a minute on low flame
  11. Now add half cup water or as required to adjust the consistency
  12. Further add deep fry Tindoora and mix gently
  13. Add malai or cream
  14. Add Kasuri methi and gently mix well for 2-3 minutes.
  15. Ready to serve
