This is one of my favourite recipe ........ It is soft and fluffy , the flavour of the onions brings makes you want more and more . It smells wonderful while baking and tastes incredible good .
Nice innovation.
In a frying pan heat oil over medium heat add garlic and onions into it .
Cook until onions and garlic soft and golden brown .
Season with salt , sugar , rosemary and chilli flakes . Set aside to cool .
In a bowl add activated yeast , sugar and mix with little bit of water and mix well , leave 2 - 3 minutes until foamy .
In a large bowl mix the flour with salt , dissolved the fresh yeast and add the flour mixture . Add the rest of the water and mix everything together and knead a smooth dough .
Cover the dough with a damp cloth for half an hour at room temperature to rise until doubled in size.
Punch down the dough and flour a surface . Knead the dough for a few rotations and form it back into a ball, press them and roll out place all the caramelized onion mixture in the centre , dampen the edges , brings them together and press to seal .
Press slightly and roll into small flat bread ensuring that the filling is evenly spread .
Grease a baking tray , place the onions bread in it , brush them with a little Olive oil and bake in the preheated oven at 200°C for about 15 minutes or till the bread are golden brown in colour.
Arrange them on a serving plate and serve with Tea or Coffee ...........
