Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Capsicum 5 pieces , yellow , red , green , orange any colour
  2. Onion 2 chopped or sliced
  3. Ginger paste 1/2 tsp
  4. Garlic pods crushed 1/2 tsp
  5. Dry powdered spices :
  6. coriander powder 1 tsp
  7. Cumin powder 1 tsp
  8. Dry mango powder 1 tsp
  9. Garam masala powder 1/2 tsp
  10. Gram flour or besan 1 tbsp
  11. Whole seeds :
  12. Whole cumin seeds 1 tsp
  13. Fennel seeds or saunf 1/2 tsp
  14. Chopped coriander leaves 1 tbsp to garnish
  15. Salt as per your taste
  16. Oil as per required

Instructions

  1. Keep all the spices ready.
  2. Cut capsicum , onion , garlic , ginger
  3. Heat 3 tsp oil , add cumin and fennel seeds , let them crackle , now add hing , cook in medium heat
  4. Add onions , when onion turns soft and translucent add garlic and ginger , saute for 2_3 mins in medium heat
  5. Add cumin powder , coriander powder , and chilli powder , saute for 1_2 mins in low heat
  6. Add capsicum pieces , saute 1_2 mins , cover and cook for 5 mins in low heat
  7. Add salt and besan , saute continuously in low heat only
  8. Mix well , add 1/4 cup water also , next add dry mango powder , cook for 3_4 mins more in low heat
  9. Add dry fenugreek leaves by rubbing them with your palms
  10. Check for salt , add garam masala and chopped coriander leaves
  11. Serve hot with any indian bread or rice
