ABOUT Pork Red Curry RECIPE

Easy to cook and delicious hot and tangy pork with red curry paste.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Pork 500 grams
  2. Chopped ginger 1 teaspoon
  3. Cumin Seed 1 teaspoon
  4. Coriander Seed 1 teaspoon
  5. Black Peppercorn 1 teaspoon
  6. Dry Red Chillies 15 nos
  7. Kashmiri Red Chillies 3 nos
  8. Shallots 6 nos
  9. Lime juice 1/2 cup
  10. Garlic 15 pods
  11. Red tomatoes 3 large
  12. Mustard oil 2 tablespoon
  13. Fresh coriander 1 bunch
  14. salt as per taste

Instructions

  1. Pressure cook the pork for one whistle and let the pressure settle down.
  2. Dry roast cumin, coriander and black peppercorns.
  3. Boil dry red chillies and kashmiri red chillies for 2 minutes, deseed it and keep aside.
  4. Take a blender or mixer and add roasted masalas, boiled deseeded chillies along with Lime Juice, shallots, garlic, red tomatoes, mustard oil, fresh coriander, salt and make a fine paste.
  5. In a wok heat 1 tsp of oil and add chopped ginger. when the raw smell goes add the pork pieces.
  6. After frying the pork for 10 min, add the curry paste.
  7. When the masala releases oil add 1 cup water and simmer for 10 min. Remove from heat and serve with rice.
