ABOUT Mango Bhappa Doi RECIPE

Beautifully yellow and delicious, steamed yoghurt is one of the delicacies of bengal and using the luscious mangoes in it makes them even more delicious to eat.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Mango puree - 1 cup
  2. Milk - 1 cup
  3. Hung curd - 1 cup
  4. Condensed Milk - 1 tin
  5. Few mango pieces for decoration
  6. Few mint leaves to decorate
  7. Brown sugar /white sugar for sprinkling - 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Whisk the hung Curd well
  2. Puree Mango well so that no lumps are there
  3. Add milk, mango puree, condensed milk, hung Curd.
  4. Whisk all well together.
  5. Pour this mixture in the wet ramekins
  6. Sprinkle sugar on top
  7. Pre-heat the oven. Pour boiling water in the baking tray. Put the ramekins there. Bake at 180 degree for 15 minutes
  8. It might look wobbly at the beginning but will set well after cooling down
  9. Chill and serve with mangoe pieces
  10. Decorate with mint leaves
  11. Enjoy delicious mango Bhappa Doi
