ABOUT Crispy Spicy Parwal Alu RECIPE

It's a spicy sabzi that goes well with all the dals and can be included in a party menu.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 500 gms- parwal (cut and fried)
  2. 2 medium - potatoes (cut and fried)
  3. 1 no - onion minced
  4. 1 tsp - ginger garlic minced
  5. 1 tsp - sabut jeera
  6. 1/2 tsp - turmeric powder
  7. 1/2 tsp - red chilli powder
  8. Salt to taste
  9. 2 tsp - coriander powder
  10. 1/2 tbsp - refined oil

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a wok
  2. Add the sabut jeera
  3. Add minced onions and saute
  4. Now add ginger garlic minced
  5. Saute till pinkish in color
  6. Add the salt and masalas
  7. Add 1 tsp water and mix
  8. Immediately add the fried veggies
  9. Mix gently and cook for 5 minutes on slow flame
  10. Adjust spices and salt
  11. Cook on slow for 2 minutes with lid covered
  12. Switch off the gas
  13. Transfer in serving bowl
  14. Serve hot with phulkas or parathas
