Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Channa (chickpeas)- 250 gm (soaked in water for whole night)
  2. Onion- 1 big sized (sliced)
  3. Green chillies- 5 to 6
  4. Coriander leaves- 1 bunch
  5. Dill leaves- few leaves
  6. Garlic- 2 to 3 cloves
  7. Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp
  8. Salt- to taste
  9. Oil- as per need
  10. Water- 1 cup

Instructions

  1. Soak channa in water for the whole night. Next morning, strain the water and wash it properly.
  2. For Green chilli paste grind green chillies, coriander leaves, garlic and dill leaves in a grinder to make a good paste.
  3. In a pressure cooker add channa, sliced onions, green chilli paste, turmeric powder, salt, oil and water.
  4. Cook it till it is completely done.
  5. Garnish it with some finely chopped onions, coriander leaves and lemon juice. Enjoy it with zeera rice.
