ABOUT Sabudana with curd RECIPE

A quick and easy breakfast and snacks option, dahi sabudana is a traditional Maharashtrian dish prepared by soaking the sabudana or sago pearls in curd and then relishing it with sugar and crushed peanut powder.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Soaked Sabudana or Sago Pearls 250 gms
  2. Boiled Potato 1/2Cup
  3. Roasted Peanut Powder 1/4 Cup
  4. Chopped Green Chilli 1tsp
  5. Cumin Seeds 1tsp
  6. Curd 1Cup
  7. Sugar 2tbsp
  8. Salt to taste
  9. Oil 2tbsp

Instructions

  1. Combine the soaked sabudana, peanuts powder, curds, coriander leaves and salt and sugar in a bowl and mix well so that no lumps remain.
  2. Heat a little oil in a thick bottom pan and add the cumin seeds and green chilies. Saute for 1 minute
  3. Allow this to cool and then add to the prepared sago mixture in the bowl. Serve Warm
