First wash and chop the method leaves. Boil 3-4 cups water in a pan. Add method leaves, boil for 2-3 mins. Let it cool.
In a mixer jar add boiled method , green chilly and lehsun. Grind into a smooth paste. Take out the in a bowl.
In the same jar add tomatoes and puree it.
In a cook heat oil. Add methi paste and cook it for 3-4 mins. Add tomato paste and all dry spices. Cook till oil separates.
Add sugar and chopped aloo. Mix well and cook for 2 mins.
Add 2 cups water and cover the lid.
Cook on high flame till one whistle, cook for 3-4 mins on low flame.
Switch off the flame serve hot with roti or rice.
SERVING: 6
