Ingredients Serving: 3
For Kofta, 1 and 1/2 packet Maggi with taste maker
1/4 Cup Chana Dal
4-5 garlic cloves roughly chopped
1 inch piece of ginger roughly chopped
1 small onion roughly chopped
1 green chilli
1 red chilli
1 tsp cumin seeds
2 tsp Lemon juice
Fresh coriander chopped
Salt to taste
For dry tempting, 1 tsp cumin seeds, 1/2 tsp hing
1 tsp mustard seeds, 1/2 tsp coriander seeds
1 tsp red chilli flakes, 1/2 tsp chat masala
Oil for cooking and salt to taste
For Curry, 1 small onion nicely chopped
2 bay leaves, 1 star anise
1 tsp ginger paste, 1 tsp garlic paste
1 tsp red chilli powder
1 sachet of Maggi taste maker
1/4 tsp nutmeg and cinnamon powder
2 tsp hung curd(whipped)
2 tsp fresh cream(whipped)
1 and 1/2 tsp jaggery
Salt to taste
oil for cooking
Fresh coriander chopped
Instructions
Soaked Chana dal for atleast 2 hour before, After 2 hours take soaked and strained Chana dal in grinding jar now add all whole kofta masala except lemon juice and grind it coarsely.
On the other side boil the Maggi and cool it in cold water and keep it aside, now take coarse dal, add lemon juice, salt, fresh coriander and boiled Maggi in it and mix well.
Now boil water in steamer,grease it with oil and make dumpling of better,and keep it on steamer drizzle some oil over it and steamed it till it cook nicely(check with toothpick).
For dry tempting, take oil in pan add all dry masala in it when cracked add steamed dumpling in it and toss it now finally add chat masala over it and serve it as a healthy breakfast.
Now for Curry, heat oil in pan, add star anise and bay leaves in it now add onion when translucent add ginger and garlic paste in it and roast it now add red chilli powder and curd in it and again roast it for a min.
If needed add some water in it, now add Maggi tastemaker, cinnamon and nutmeg powder and again simmer it.
finally add jaggery and after a min add cream in it, mix well and switch of gas.
when need to serve add steamed as well as dry tempting kofta in it. Sprinkle some fresh coriander leaves over it, serve it hot with rice or chapati.
