ABOUT Maggi dal khichdi RECIPE

A simple & tasty breakfast dish with maggi noodles & dal, made in a typical South Indian way.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. maggi noodles 2 small packets
  2. moong dal, cooked 1/2 cup
  3. onion , chopped 1 big
  4. grated coconut 5 tbsp
  5. Salt
  6. Mustard seeds 1/4 tsp
  7. red chillies 3, chopped
  8. Curry leaves a few
  9. oil 2 tbsp.

Instructions

  1. Cook noodles as per instructions. strain it. (should not overcook).
  2. cut the noodles into small pieces.
  3. take a pan, put oil when it s hot, add mustard seeds.
  4. when it splutters add red chillies & curry leaves. Fry for a few sec.
  5. then add chopped onion. fry well
  6. then finally add noodles, cooked dal, grated coconut & enough salt. stir fry for a few min.
  7. serve hot .
