South Indian Maggi Noodles

ABOUT South Indian Maggi Noodles RECIPE

I got the inspiration from my mother and sister for preparing this dish.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Onion (sliced) - 1 large
  2. Garlic (crushed) - 15 flakes and Ginger (crushed) - 1 inch piece
  3. Capsicum - 1 medium
  4. Cabbage- 1 small
  5. Carrot - 2 numbers
  6. Beans - 8 numbers (all these vegetables cut into thin long strips)
  7. Black pepper powder - 1 teaspoon
  8. Red chilli - 5 (soaked and ground with vinegar)
  9. Maggi masala - 3 packets
  10. Salt - to taste
  11. Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon and Tomato ketchup - 1 tablespoon
  12. Maggi noodles - 6 packets
  13. Gingelly oil - 3 tablespoons
  14. Panner cubes - 100 gm (marinated with salt, chili powder, haldi powder, 1 teaspoon of ginger and garlic paste) and roasted with little oil
  15. Coriander leaves (optional) - sufficient quantity

Instructions

  1. Cook Maggi noodles and keep aside. It should not be overcooked.
  2. Heat oil in a wok or kadhai, then add the red chili flakes and also the crushed ginger and garlic.
  3. Let the raw smell go, then add carrot, mix well and cover and cook until a bit soft.
  4. Open the lid and add the onions and saute till transparent.
  5. Add cabbage and capsicum and saute on high flame.
  6. Also add required salt and the Maggi masala. Mix well.
  7. Reduce flame and add soy sauce. Now add the Maggi noodles. Mix well. Turn off the flame and add tomato ketchup.
  8. Garnish with roasted paneer pieces on top and serve with chopped coriander leaves.
