ABOUT Schezwan Maggi noodle Dosa RECIPE

Schezwan maggi noodles dosa, is a very quick and easy dosa with a Chinese twist to plain dosa. Perfect recipe for those times when you have left over dosa batter lying in your refrigerator. Delicious, nutritious and filling bribe for your kids.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 4 laddles : Dosa batter
  2. 1 pack : maggi noodles
  3. 1 tsp : Maggi Taste maker
  4. 1/2cup : Mozarella grated
  5. 1 medium : onion chopped
  6. 1/4 cup : Carrot cut into thin sticks
  7. 1/4 cup : Bell pepper thinly sliced
  8. 1/2 cup : Shredded cabbage
  9. 3 tbsp : Chopped spring onion
  10. 2 tbsp : Butter
  11. 3 tbsp : Schezwan sauce

Instructions

  1. For Dosa batter : I used left overs from our weekend breakfast for which i used 1 cup : Urad dal, 1.5 cups : Sona masoori rice, 1.5 cups : Parboiled rice ,1 tsp : Fenugreek seeds. Soak overnight , grind into smooth batter, ferment and use.
  2. For Schezwan sauce : 1 tbsp : Olive oil, 2 tbsp : minced Garlic , 1 tbsp: Minced ginger , 1 tsp : Soy sauce , 1/2 tsp : Vinegar, 10 nos : dry red chillies , salt to taste, 1/4 tsp : Sugar. Soak red chillies in hot water for an hour and grind smooth. Heat a pan add oil. Add garlic , ginger saute. Next add the red chilli paste fry until raw smell is gone . Stir in the rest of the ingredients cook until oil droplets appear. Cool and store.
  3. Cook the maggi noodles until al dante in a cup of water add in spoonful of taste maker and schezwan sauce. Mix and cool.
  4. Assembling : Heat a skillet once hot, add dosa batter according to the size of the skillet. Spread evenly.
  5. Lower the heat add a spoonful of butter and schezwan sauce. Spread evenly over the dosa.
  6. Later add the veggies, grated cheese and cooked noodles over the dosa according to your preference but the more the better is my way.
  7. Cover the skillet with a lid and cook for few seconds.
  8. Remove the lid, increase the heat and cook until golden.
  9. Later fold and serve with tomato ketchup and coconut chutney.
  10. Damn! Utterly butterly spicy schezwan noodle dosa ready to gobble !
