ABOUT Stuffed plantain RECIPE

A thick ripe banana is filled with dried fruits, nuts and layered with pistachio powder. Enjoy your day with this delicious and healthy dessert.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1/4 cup grated coconut
  2. 1 tbsp dried grapes (Sultana)
  3. 1 tbsp cashew nuts chopped
  4. 4 tbsp pistachio powder
  5. pinch of cardamom powder
  6. 1 tbsp honey
  7. 2 tbsp jaggery (or according to the taste)
  8. 2 banana

Instructions

  1. Choose a long banana, cut it into two and scoop out the flesh.
  2. For the stuffing: Take some cashew nuts, dry grapes, grated coconut, jaggery and a pinch of cardamom powder. Mix them well.
  3. Stuff the filling into the banana.
  4. Peel the banana (without breaking it). Rub it with some honey and crumb it with the pistachio powder.
  5. Cut into small pieces.
  6. Stuffed bananas are ready to eat.
