ABOUT kacche kele dahi vade RECIPE

For your Fast, you can make wada from either potato or sweet potato, or you can have Dahi wada made from raw banana. For making raw banana wada, you neither have to need too many ingredients nor have to work hard.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. for vadas---- Raw banana 6 no
  2. Boiled potato 2 medium
  3. Sendha/ lahori/rock salt to taste
  4. Red Chili Powder 1 Tsp
  5. chopped green chili 2 no
  6. Chopped coriander 1 tbsp
  7. Singhade (water cashew nut ) flour 1 tbsp
  8. Oil for frying
  9. For garnishing ----- Roasted cumin powder 2 tsp
  10. Red Chili powder to taste
  11. Curd 1/2 kg
  12. Salt to taste
  13. Sugar powder 1 tbsp
  14. Imli ki chutney
  15. green chutney

Instructions

  1. Wash, peel, boil and then mash the banana. Mix mashed potato with it. Now add salt, green chili, coriander leaves and singhade ka ata. Mix well then make the vada.
  2. Heat oil and fry the vadas till they turn golden brown. Add sugar in curd and mix it well. Now soak the vadas in it. Sprinkle the salt, red chili powder, cumin powder, green chutney and imli chutney.
