ABOUT Badam Milk RECIPE

Badam milk is all time favourite for kids and everyone. Along with extraordinary taste, it is loaded with the goodness of almonds which are very good for our health. Almonds help in preventing cancer, it is good for our brain, eyes, digestion, skin, hair and much more. Badam milk tastes excellent when served chilled in hot summer. Here is a simple recipe to make this delightful badam milk.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Milk 1 litre
  2. Sugar- 1 cup
  3. Elachi- 3 ( powdered)
  4. Saffron- few strands
  5. Amonds- 1 cup ( soaked in water for 1 hour )
  6. Chopped almonds- 1 tbsp
  7. Cinnamon powder ( optional)- a pinch

Instructions

  1. Boil milk and add sugar, soaked almonds paste, chopped almonds, Saffron soaked in warm milk, elachi powder
  2. Keep stirring till it thickens a little
  3. Switch off the stove and add cinnamon powder.( cinnamon is very good to use especially in winter season to avoid cold and cough).
  4. Now pour it into a bottle and keep in refrigerator till we are ready to serve
  5. Enjoy chilled badam milk
