ABOUT Badam-milk RECIPE

Almonds are very healthy and very helpful in brain development so this is given to pregnant ladies for their good health and child.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Almonds -40 pieces
  2. Milk -1 litre
  3. Saffron a pinch
  4. Green cardamom powder -1 tsp
  5. Nutmeg powder a pinch
  6. Suger -8 tsp

Instructions

  1. Soak the almonds in two cup of boiling water for 5-10 minutes. Drain and peel them. Chopped 15 of them in small pieces and remaining badam place in the mixer and grind to paste.
  2. Heat the milk in a kadhai and boilon high heat. Once it come to boil reduce heat to medium and add almond paste and heat for 15-20 minutes.
  3. Add saffron. Cardamom powder. Nutmeg powder and mix well add sugar and mix. Off the flame.
  4. Garnish with the chopped almonds and serve hot in individual earthenware glasses.
