Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 250 gms besan
  2. 2 tsp ghee
  3. 3 tsp milk
  4. 200 gms of ghee
  5. 250 gms of sugar
  6. 1/2 tsp of cardamom powder
  7. 2 tsp of pistachio and badam flakes
  8. 2 tbsp of mawa (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add 2 tsp ghee +3 tsp of milk to besan
  2. Make a dough and knead with both hands. It should look like breadcrumbs
  3. Sieve it
  4. Now in dip pan and add ghee
  5. let it become little hot
  6. Add seived besan
  7. Roast it on slow flame
  8. When it releases ghee, add cardamom
  9. On the other side make sugar syrup
  10. Add water to sugar. Boil to get a syrup of two string consistency
  11. Add mawa to besan and roast for 5 minutes
  12. Now add sugar syrup to besan
  13. Mix properly. It will become like a dough
  14. Transfer it to a greased plate
  15. Spread it evenly
  16. Top with dry fruit
  17. Let it set. Cut into desired shapes

Sounds yummm.....bt can u tell why should it the besan mixture b sieved...or if this step can b escaped??
