Make a soft dough with all the ingredients mentioned under dough. Cover and keep aside.
Heat oil in a kadhai. Add the hing , green chillies and ginger paste.
Now add the mashed Channa dal to the kadhai. Cook well for atleast five minutes.
Remove from heat once it is dry. Add the chopped coriander leaves. Cool to enable stuffing.
Make portions of the dough. Fill with enough stuffing . Seal well.
Roll into round parathas and cook with oil on both sides.
Serve with aloo rassa and pickle.
