ABOUT Ragi Poori RECIPE

Super healthy crisp and soft poori made of ragi flour, potatoes and whole Wheat flour.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Ragi Flour - 1 cup
  2. Wheat Flour - 1 Cup
  3. Potatoes - 2 boiled and peeled
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Ghee - 1-2 cups
  6. Water as needed

Instructions

  1. In a bowl add the boiled potatoes and finely mash them.
  2. Add in salt, about 2 tsp of ghee and ½ cup water. Mix well.
  3. Add the wheat flour and ragi flour mix well and knead to form a stiff dough adding water little by little at a time.
  4. Divide the dough into small balls. Take one ball and roll them into pooris.
  5. Heat the ghee in a deep frying pan.
  6. In low-medium heat drop the poori in hot ghee, press on the top using a slotted spoon.
  7. It will puff up, now flip them over and fry on other side for few mins.
  8. Drain and serve.
