Wash and soak urad daal for 3-4 hrs
Wash fish thoroughly, mix all marinades and marinate it. Keep it in refrigerator for 2 hrs
Once dal is soaked, drain excess water and add chopped garlic cloves ginger and green chili and grind to a coarse paste. Add salt to this paste as per your taste
Remove fish from refrigerator and let it come to room temperature
Heat oil in wok.
Dip these pieces in the daal batter and deep fry. Fish tends to absorb oil initially, after few mins it starts to leave oil. Fry till it begins to leave oil.
Serve hot with sauce or chutney of your choice
