ABOUT Grilled fish RECIPE

A very easy recipe for weekend fun to go with your bar or even if you are a teetotaller.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Mackrel fish or any other fish of your choice - 2 piece weighing 500 gm
  2. Pinch of salt
  3. Lemon juice (nimbu ka ras) - 2 lemon
  4. Fish sauce - 6 tbspn
  5. Black pepper - 2 tbspn
  6. Finely chopped coriander leaves or coriander leaves paste as per your choice
  7. Garlic cloves chrushed - 5
  8. Butter - 1 tbsp
  9. Mushrooms - quantity as per your choice

Instructions

  1. Make semi slit on the fish from both side. Also with fork make holes in the fish. Marinate the fish with lemon juice and pinch of salt for 15 minutes.
  2. Now prepare a marinate with the following - chopped coriander leaves or coriander leaves paste, fish sauce, crushed garlic cloves, black pepper, butter and few chopped mushroom.
  3. Add this marinate to the fish. You can stuff few portion of the marinate inside the fish from its partially cut portion from head. Leave it for an hour.
  4. In the meantime, marinate the remaining mushroom with salt and pepper.
  5. Pre heat your oven for 15 minutes.
  6. Place the fish along with the marinate in the grill tray. Now place the mushroom on the sides and place the same in the oven for 40 minutes or till the fish become soft on both side. Flip the fish in between.
  7. Serve hot with drink of your choice
