ABOUT Tofu spinach Calzone RECIPE

Its a very delicious savoury dish with health benefits of spinach and tofu. Moreover its not deep fried, instead it is microwaved.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Maida - 1 cup
  2. Oil - 2 tsp
  3. salt as per taste
  4. Water
  5. For the filling :
  6. Spinach finely chopped - 1 cup
  7. Tofu mashed - 1/2 cup
  8. Salt
  9. Black pepper - 1 tsp
  10. Ketchup - 2 tsp
  11. Chilli sauce - 1 tsp
  12. Oil- 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. Add maida, salt, oil and water to make a semi soft dough.
  2. Take a pan. Add oil. Put spinach, tofu, ketchup, chilli sauce, salt and black pepper. Cook for 5 minutes. Let it cool completely.
  3. Make thin small rotis from dough. Put filling and give the desired shape. Put on baking tray. Grease with oil.
  4. Preheat microwave at 200 degrees. Bake for 45 minutes or till golden brown
  5. Serve with mint chutney.
