ABOUT Gundar paak RECIPE

Winter special recipe which is very healthy and good for ladies specially. It gives heat and energy to the body.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Wheat flour-250 gms
  2. Ghee-250gms
  3. Jaggery-200 gms
  4. Edible gum/gond-100 gms
  5. Mix dryfruits like magaj,almonds,cashews,unsalted pistas-100 gms
  6. Khaskhas-50 gms
  7. Sunth-2 tsp

Instructions

  1. Take ghee in a pan and add gond when ghee becomes hot. Fry the gond and remove in a bowl. Now add wheat flour. Roast the flour on medium heat with continuous stirring.
  2. When the flour becomes dark in colour and nice fragrance comes from roasted flour,add the dry fruits, gond, sonth and mix nicely. If you wish can crush the gond like I have done:-)
  3. Remove the pan from gas and now mix the crushed jaggery nicely.
  4. Spread this mixture in a greased thali and press with a spatula.
  5. Cut into pieces and after it cools remove and keep in airtight container.
