ABOUT Gol Gappe Fry RECIPE

The Delhi ke Gol Gappe ,Mumbai ki Paani poori, Kolkata ka Puchka fried at home to make Dahi poori, paani poori or sev poori with tasty Imli ki chatni and green mint chutney. Yummy as they are done at home. Very crisp and hygenic too.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Ready packet of pooris to fry (I got hold of one at Delhi Haat)
  2. Oil to fry
  3. 2 small potatoes
  4. 2-4 tblspoon Imli chatni /maggi imli sauce
  5. 1 cup yoghurt, beaten well
  6. 2 tblspns green mint chutney
  7. 1/4 tspn roasted cummin powder
  8. 1/2 tspn red chillies powder kashmiri
  9. Bikaneri sev/ bhujia
  10. Corriander to garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat oil to deep fry.
  2. Fry the pooris available from this packet .
  3. Chop the boiled potatoes. Break open the pooris and put potatoes into them.
  4. Now add the imli /tamarind chutney.
  5. On these add the beaten yogurt and season with the spices mentioned.
  6. On these add the green mint corriander chutney and the sev bhujiya.
  7. Sprinkle coriander for garnish.
