ABOUT Lotus Stem Kababs with Cabbage Wrap. RECIPE

It is kind of snack. I have used lotus stem with left over white rice and given a wrap with cabbage.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. 1 cabbage cut into long strips
  2. 4 lotus stems boiled
  3. 1 paneer mashed
  4. Salt to taste
  5. 1tsp garam masala powder
  6. 1 cup left over cooked white rice
  7. 1tsp chat masala powder
  8. 1tbsp coriander chopped
  9. Oil for frying
  10. 1tbsp Maida
  11. 1 boiled potato boiled, mashed

Instructions

  1. Pressure cook the lotus stem for 5 whistles
  2. Then take it out, grind into paste or else if you can mash it nicely with your hands
  3. Then in a bowl add mashed paneer, salt, coriander, chat masala powder, garam masala powder, potato , lotus stem and left over white rice. Mix nicely
  4. Then give shape of kababs
  5. Dip in maida paste (maida+water)
  6. Then take long strips of cabbage and wrap it around the kababs and deep fry it
  7. Serve
