Fusili Aglio Olio and a Warm Salad

ABOUT Fusili Aglio Olio and a Warm Salad RECIPE

It's a healthy recipe which packs a lot of taste and kids love to eat colorful food.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. The pasta:
  2. 200g Fusili (you can use any other shape too)
  3. 1 cup parsley, chopped
  4. 1 tsp chilli flakes
  5. 2 Onions, chopped
  6. 10 cloves of garlic peeled and chopped
  7. 2-3tbsp Breadcrumbs or parmesan cheese
  8. Lemon juice, salt, olive oil, pepper, dried herbs
  9. Olives (optional)
  10. Salad (Julienne everything)
  11. 1 Onion
  12. 2 Carrots
  13. Half a head of cabbage
  14. 4-5 babycorn
  15. Half red capsicum
  16. Half yellow capsicum
  17. Corn and olives and broccoli (optional)
  18. Salt, lemon juice, balsamic vinegar

Instructions

  1. Boil pasta till Al dente.
  2. Heat olive oil in a wok. Add chilli flakes, dried herbs, garlic. Add parsley when the garlic is cooked.
  3. Add pasta when the parsley wilts.
  4. Add lemon juice, salt, pepper, breadcrumbs/parmesan and some more dried herbs.
  5. For the salad, heat olive oil in a shallow pan. On high heat, add all the vegetables. Cook for 3-4 minutes till they soften a bit. Add salt, lemon and a dash of balsamic vinegar.
