ABOUT Warm Idli Salad RECIPE

We all want our salad to be low calorie, healthy, full of fiber and filling. This salad is the one which fulfills all the measures of being low calorie and filling salad. You can take this salad as an evening snack.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Rava or Suji 1 Cup
  2. Curd 2tbsp
  3. Fruit Salt 1/2tsp
  4. Capsicum diced 1/4 Cup
  5. Onion sliced 1/2 Cup
  6. Green chili Chopped 1tbsp
  7. Mustard Seeds 1/4 tsp
  8. Oil 1/2 tsp
  9. Turmeric Powder 1/4 tsp
  10. Salt to taste
  11. Lemon Juice 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Take a Bowl. Add Rava, Curd, and Salt and Mix well. Add some water to make a mix. Keep it aside for 20 minutes.
  2. After 20 minutes, add some more water if required to make a paste.
  3. Add fruit salt and mix it quickly in one direction.
  4. Grease the idli moulds with oil, pour the idli batter and steam for 15 minutes.
  5. In the meantime, heat oil in non stick pan.
  6. Add mustard seeds.
  7. When it starts to splutter, add onion and green chili.
  8. Add capsicum and saute.
  9. Add salt and turmeric powder and switch off the gas.
  10. When idli is done, let it cool and cut it into pieces.
  11. Add pieces of idli to stir fried vegetables.
  12. Mix well and saute for a minute
  13. Switch off the gas and add lemon juice.
  14. Serve warm.
