Soak the Tamarind for 5-10 min
Mash well and strain out the pulp
To this add chilli powder
Now add salt
Add cumin powder
Add pinch of garam masala
Mix all well
Lastly add Jaggery scraping with a knife into the tamarind pulp
Transfer contents into a pot, cook the mix slowly stirring on low flame
Mix and keep stirring till done
Cook till it starts getting little sticky
Add raisins now
Turn off the heat and let it cool.
Garnish with blanched chopped almonds
Serve cold.
