ABOUT Palak Sweet Corn RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 1 1/2 cup washed and chopped palak- (spinach)
  2. 3/4 cup Boiled sweet corn
  3. 2 potatoes cut into cubes
  4. 1/2 cup cream/malai (optional)
  5. 2 green chillies-chopped
  6. One big onion - chopped
  7. 4 garlic- chopped
  8. One tbsp coriander leaves chopped
  9. One cup chopped tomatoes
  10. Masala (not so spicy) -
  11. 1/2 teaspoon salt
  12. 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  13. 1 big spoon coriander powder
  14. 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  15. 1/2 cumin seeds
  16. 2 table spoon oil/Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a wok and half fry potatoes like bhaja's. Keep aside
  2. Now add cumins seeds. When seeds crackle, add garlic, onion green chillies and saute some time. If onion is transparent then add turmeric, salt, coriander powder, red chilli powder. Saute and add potato, corn and spinach. Cover with lid
  3. Cook for 10 minutes and add tomato. Cover it. Cook until veggies are well cooked.
  4. Now add cream/malai. Mix and cook for only 5 minutes.
  5. Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
