For making pooris- Mix everything, flour,potato, oil,curd, and salt. Knead well. Keep aside.
Take small sized balls. Roll them, deep fry them. Pooris are ready.
Make curry, fry garlic paste in oil , Then add chopped onion, fry. After some time, add tomato stir well till it gets a creamy consistency.
Then add small pieces of potato, along with all masala powders. Stir well for some time. If more water is needed pour some,close lid. Cook for about 8,10 minutes and then add leaves and cooked dal. Stir and adjust seasoning. Then let it simmer for 10 more minutes. When the gravy is almost thick remove
Fry red chillies in ghee. If you like the taste of garlic, you may add that too, while seasoning.
Serve curry with pooris.
