ABOUT Curry leaves Chutney RECIPE

Here is an Indian preparation called chutney. It is healthy, increases hemoglobin. It can be used as wet chutney as well as dry. It can be sprinkled as dry powder on sandwiches or rice.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Curry leaves 70 grams
  2. Whole red chilly 7-8
  3. Whole tamarind without seeds 40 gram
  4. Chana dal 3 tbsp
  5. Jaggery or sugar 50 gram
  6. Dry grated coconut 4 tbsp
  7. Pure ghee 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. For making this chutney you need to wash curry leaves thoroughly and ensure that it should not have water and to be dried fully.
  2. Take a pan and heat pure ghee.
  3. Add chana dal and roast for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Add whole chilli and roast for another 2 minutes.
  5. Now add grated coconut and Curry leaves and roast again for 2-3 minutes.
  6. Take a mixing jar and put all the remaining ingredients ( tamarind and jaggery or sugar) and grind ones.
  7. Now add all roasted ingredients and grind it until it becomes powder.
  8. Now you can store this chutney powder in air tight container and can be stored for three month in fridge.
  9. Whenever you want to use this chutney,add required salt and water and serve.
