Tangy-spicy paneer stuffed puffs for foodicted soul

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 2 medium size onions chopped
  2. 2 capsicums chopped
  3. 1 cup sweet corn
  4. 250 gms paneer cubed
  5. puff pastry sheets
  6. green chilli sauce 1 tablespoon
  7. white sauce 2 tablespoon
  8. 1 tsp haldi
  9. 1 tsp red chilli
  10. 1 tsp zeera powder
  11. Salt to taste
  12. Ginger garlic paste 1 tablespoon
  13. Oil 1 tablespoon
  14. Chat masala 1 Teaspoon
  15. mixed herbs ( rosemary, basil, oregano and chilli flakes)

Instructions

  1. take oil in a pan and add chopped onions saute till they are translucent
  2. add ginger garlic paste and cook for 1 minute
  3. add other spices like haldi, chilli powder, jeera powder, salt and saute again till you get an aroma of spices you added
  4. add chopped capsicum and sweet corn
  5. now add green chilli sauce and mix well and cook for another minute
  6. add paneer and mixed herbs and sprinkel chat masala over it and cook for about 2 mins
  7. now take puff pastry sheets. cut them into squares
  8. brush water on the edges of sheets and put one spoon of paneer stuffing in the middle of the sheet
  9. give a shape of your choice. triangle samosa shape or pockets as given in picture or a rectangle like we get in the bakeries.
  10. preheat oven at 180 degrees C and bake the parcels for about 15 to 18 minutes till thy turn brown
  11. brush some butter over the parcels and bake again for 5 minutes. it will give them nice brown and shiny crust.
  12. serve with green chutney and tomato sauce

what to use instead of puff pastry sheets???
