ABOUT Nargisi Kofta RECIPE

This is an Awadhi dish made out of minced mutton blended with spices.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Mutton- 1/2 kg
  2. Whole garam masala -1 bowl
  3. Red chilli powder -1 tsp
  4. Garam masala powder -1 tsp
  5. Cashew paste -2 tbsp
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Crushed pepper powder -1/2 tsp
  8. Coriander leaves -1 tsp
  9. Eggs- 2
  10. Lemon juice-1 tsp
  11. Coriander powder -1/2 tsp
  12. Cumin powder -1/2 tsp
  13. Tandoori masala powder -1 tsp
  14. Boiled eggs- 6
  15. Bread crumbs -1 bowl
  16. Oil for frying
  17. Ginger-garlic paste -1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Take a cooker, add the mutton with salt, ginger-garlic paste, whole garam masala, all spice powder. Pour in water and cook the mutton till it's done.
  2. Let it cool and add in the minced cashew paste in a mixer, then add in the finely chopped coriander leaves.
  3. Now add in the garam masala powder, mix it well, then flatten it and keep the half boiled egg.
  4. Now close it, dip it in the egg first, then in the breadcrumbs and deep fry till they turn brown on both sides.
  5. Serve them hot for best taste.
