ABOUT Japanese Steamed Cakes In Idli Moulds RECIPE

Awesome light and fluffy cakes are just right to kick start your day.This is my innovative idea in presenting them for you all, my Country folks. And what better way than to steam them like our own little beauties, the all time favourite of us. The Idlis thus presenting the fusion in my style.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. All purpose flour 1/2 cup
  2. Baking powder 1 tsp
  3. Egg 1
  4. Salt 1/2 tsp
  5. Sugar 1 tbsp
  6. Milk 2 tbsp
  7. Sweet corn kernels 5 tbsp
  8. Mozzarella cheese 1/2 cup shredded
  9. Canola oil 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Beat the egg along with the milk, salt, sugar and oil.
  2. Then combine the dry ingredients now, add in the corn and the cheese. Mix all until it's well combined.
  3. Grease the idli moulds and steam.
  4. Steam them for 10 mins and insert a skewer to check whether they are done. If it comes out clean, they are perfectly done.
