ABOUT Baked Noodle Quiche RECIPE

A baked noodles dish that is a fusion between Chinese and Italian cuisine.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Noodles (boiled) - 1 cup
  2. Butter - 2 tbsp
  3. Eggs - 2
  4. Milk - 1.5 cup
  5. Grated processed cheese- to sprinkle on top
  6. Chicken cubes - 1/2 cup
  7. Soy sauce - 1 tbsp
  8. Chilli sauce - 1 tsp
  9. Salt as per taste
  10. Veggies (Carrots, beans, capsicum)- 1/2 cup
  11. Chopped garlic - 1/2 tsp
  12. Chopped chillies - 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  1. Add the melted butter into the boiled noodles, place them into tart tins and press them on all sides.
  2. Bake them at 230 degrees Celsius in a preheated oven for 10 minutes. Then keep it aside.
  3. Separate the egg whites and egg yolks. Also boil the milk and simmer, then take it off the heat.
  4. Beat the egg yolks slowly, then pour the milk into it while beating it without the egg being curdled.
  5. Put the milk mixture back to heat, simmer and cook till it becomes thick. Add the rest of the ingredients into this milk mixture.
  6. Beat egg whites to form soft peaks. Fold the egg whites into the milk mixture.
  7. Bake it for 20-25 minutes at 200 degrees celsius in a preheated oven.
  8. Serve it warm for best taste.
