This sweet is just perfect for diwali . It is very simple recipe and its taste is also awsome . I adopted this wonderful recipe from Ruchi's Kitchen and sharing with you all . I hope you will love it . Happy Diwali .
Soak the almonds in hot water for 45 minutes to 1 hour .
Soak some saffron strands into the milk for 5 to 10 minutes .
Then take it out from water and peel off the almonds skin .
Take out the excess water of the almonds with the help of kitchen napkin .
Make a fine powder of the almonds in a grinder .
In a deep neck non stick pan add sugar and water .
Keep stirring till the sugar dissolves .
After that add the almonds powder and mix everything properly .
Add the saffron milk and mix it well .
Add ghee and cardamom powder and mix it well .
Keep on stirring the mixture till it stop sticking the pan .
After that remove it in a greased plate .
Spread it on a tray with a help of spatula .
Spread finely chopped almonds on the top and dab them down .
After few minutes when the mixture will cool down a bit cut it down into a square pieces .
Now let the badam katli set for 30 minutes .
After that take out the badam katli very carefully and serve it to your family and friends .
