Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Pasta whole wheat
  2. Toor dal 1 cup
  3. Coriander chopped
  4. curry leaves
  5. Red chillies
  6. Mustard seeds
  7. Jeera
  8. Lemon juice
  9. Garlic chopped 3-4pods
  10. Chopped green chillies 1\2 tea spoon
  11. Dhaniya powder 1\2 tea spoon (optional)
  12. Cream for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl of toor dal ,wash and measured quantity of water and pressure cook it.
  2. Meanwhile in another bowl add whole wheat pasta, add water of required quantity and cook the pasta with salt
  3. Drain the excess water after the pasta is cooked
  4. Mash the daal , until there are no lumps
  5. Add 1-1\2 cup of water
  6. Add salt
  7. Add the cooked pasta to the daal. And cook on sim
  8. For tempering:
  9. Take some ghee in a pan. Add mustard, jeera, chopped garlic(optional), curry leaves, asafoetida. And red chillies.
  10. Saute for a few seconds.
  11. Add the tempering to the mixture
  12. Add 1tsp of lemon juice.
  13. Sprinkle chopped coriander leaves
  14. Add a dash of cream while serving.
  15. Serve hot.
