A healthy halwa, I have made this halwa in very less ghee with loads of dry fruits powder.
This looks nice
Heat Pan (do not add oil or ghee), add grated or crushed carrot and dry roast until all water evaporates.
Once its completely dried, remove from pan and keep aside and in the same pan add grated bottle gourd and dry roast until water evaporates.
Once it is completely dry, mix grated carrot, Sugar, Cardamom Powder, walnut powder, Almond powder and stir well until it coats each other.
Now add milk powder and milk, stir continuously. The moment halwa thickens, add Ghee and give a continuous stir until halwa slightly changes color and it looks little glossy.
Garnish with fried raisins and sunflower seeds.
Serve hot or cold.
