Ingredients Serving: 4
For potato filling-
Potatoes 6 no. (Medium )
Paneer 1 cup. ( made fresh)
Butter or Olive Oil 2 tsp
Salt to taste
Pepper powder 1/2 tsp
Unsweetened cocoa powder 1 tsp ( heaped )
For sauce -
Butter or ghee ( 6 tsp melted)
Wheat flour / maida 6 tsp ( heaped )
Milk 6 cups (600 ml)
Cheese grated ( 2 tbsp )
Roasted Garlic flakes 1 tsp
Red chilli flakes 1 tsp ( according to taste )
Pepper powder 1 tsp
For garnish-
Cheese grated 2 tbsp
Pomegranate seeds 1 tbsp
Chocolate chips 1 tbsp
Instructions
Wash and peel potatoes.
Grate it and saute in butter or oil for 5 minutes. Add salt and pepper.
Add cocoa powder mixed with a little water and stir fry on high flame. As water evaporates put the gas off and let it cool.
Add crumbled Paneer and mix well.
Heat butter or ghee in a nonstick pan , add flour, saute a little. Add hot milk stirring constantly not to form lumps. Add salt and pepper and cook till thickens. Add roasted Garlic flakes and Chilli flakes.
Grease a baking dish. Spread half of white sauce. Now spread Potato and Paneer mixture on it.
Now add Pomegranate seeds and Oragano to the rest half white sauce and make a layer on potato Paneer mixture. Spread the Cheese over it and bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes at 180 C.
After 10 minutes take out of oven , garnish with Chocolate Chips and bake for another 5 minutes.
Let it cool a while before serving.
