Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. 4 dry coconuts (kopra) grated
  2. 200 gms dry dates (kharek) seedless
  3. 100 gms almonds (badam)
  4. 1/2 kg jaggery (gur)
  5. 100 gms cashew nuts (kaju)
  6. 1/2 tsp nutmeg (jaiphal) powder
  7. 1/2 tsp cloves (laung/ lavang) powder
  8. 50 gms edible gum (gaund)
  9. 250 gms ghee

Instructions

  1. Roast the grated coconut with 1 tablespoon of ghee till it turns brown in colour, then make a powder of it.
  2. Also powder the dry dates and roast it in ghee for 10 minutes. Then make a powder form of the almonds and cashews as well.
  3. In a kadhai, heat 1 tbsp of ghee and let it take the shape of a ball.
  4. Take a kadhai, put in the jaggery and 1 teaspoon of water to prepare the syrup. Once it forms a thread consistency add all the other ingredients and prepare the ladoos.
