ABOUT Bread Stuffed Mirchi with Baked Masaledaar Potato RECIPE

I stuffed Bhavanagari chillies with bread mixture and baked it with potatoes. This chilli is not at all hot.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Bhavanagar green chillies 159 gms
  2. Potato 2 nos (big sized around 200 gms)
  3. Brown bread 3 slices
  4. Coconut powder 2 tbsp
  5. Sesame seeds 2 tbsp
  6. Roasted ground nuts (crushed) 2 tbsp
  7. Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
  8. Chilli powder 1 tsp (according to taste)
  9. Garam masala 1 tsp
  10. Coriander powder 2 tbsp
  11. Olive oil 2 tbsp
  12. Unsalted butter 2 tsp
  13. Grated garlic 1 tsp
  14. Salt as per taste

Instructions

  1. Wash the chillies, then cut and slit it well. Also wash the potatoes, then peel and cut it into fries shapes.
  2. Cut the edges and dry grind the bread. Then roast the coconut powder, sesame seeds and coarsely grind it.
  3. Now mix the bread, coconut, sesame seeds and ground nuts together. Add all the masalas and the butter.
  4. Then add 1 tbsp of olive oil and stuff the chillies with this mixture. Mix rest of the mixture with the sliced potatoes.
  5. Preheat oven at 180 degrees celsius.
  6. Put the aluminium foil over a greased tray. Then spread the chillies and potatoes, next drizzle olive oil on top. Bake it for 15 minutes.
  7. Serve them warm.
