ABOUT Bachelors Brinjal RECIPE

This is one of my favourite recipes and also the easiest. It is a tongue tickling curry.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Eggplant - 8 nos
  2. Garlic Cloves- 4 or 5
  3. Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon
  4. Red Chilli Powder - 2 teaspoon
  5. Salt - to taste
  6. Oil - 2 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Take the garlic cloves, salt, red chilli powder and grind them in the mixer for a second.
  2. Transfer this into a bowl. Then add the cumin seeds to this mixture.
  3. Wash the brinjals and slit them diagonally. Keep them in salt water until use.
  4. Next stuff the brinjals with the prepared mixture.
  5. Heat oil in a pan, add the stuffed brinjals. Saute them well. Cover them with a lid. Allow it to cook for 4 minutes.
  6. Serve it hot with rice or chapati.
