ABOUT Paneer Sashlik RECIPE

This recipe is similar to chicken sashlik. The only thing I added is homemade paneer. An absolutely yummy dish that I am proud of as it is my own innovative idea. It was an instant hit!

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Paneer cubes about 300 gm
  2. 1 bowl of Capsicum in yellow, green and red colour, cut into big chunks
  3. Onion about 2 large sized, cut into big pieces
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Mustard paste about 1 tbsp
  6. Worcestershire sauce about 2 tbsp
  7. Soy sauce 1 tbsp
  8. Chilli garlic sauce 1 tbsp
  9. Red Chilli Powder 1 tbsp
  10. Garam masala about 1 tsp
  11. Oil about 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil and add all the masalas. Saute them for about 3 mins.
  2. Next add the paneer along with the capsicum and onion, just toss it in the gravy. (Don't mix it too much.)
  3. Place them on the skewers in any order that you like. Follow the order of, paneer cubes followed by capsicum, followed by onions and so on and so forth.
  4. Grill them on the stove top griller or in the oven just for 5 mins.
  5. The veggies should be crunchy, hence bake it only for 5 or 10 mins.
  6. Serve it hot with any dip of your choice or chilli garlic sauce.
