Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Soaked sona masoori rice- 1 cup
  2. Cooked rice- 1/4th cup
  3. Jaggery water- 1 cup
  4. Cardamoms- 3
  5. Baking soda- 1/4 teaspoon
  6. Salt- a pinch
  7. Grated coconut- 1/4th cup
  8. Cumin- 1/4 teaspoon (optional)
  9. Shallots- 10 (optional)

Instructions

  1. Soak the rice for 5-6 hours or overnight. Also melt the jaggery and make 1 cup of it.
  2. Combine the soaked rice, cooked rice, jaggery water, cardamom, coconut, baking soda and salt until it forms a smooth batter.
  3. Heat a frying pan, fry in the shallots, coconut pieces and cumin in ghee. Then mix this mixture with the rice batter.
  4. Pour it into a tray which can be placed inside a cooker. Make sure to remove the whistle and cook this batter for 10-15 mins.
  5. Poke the final product with a toothpick to check if it's cooked or not.
  6. Your cake is ready!

Hmmm its lks nice....bt instd of jggry my we add sugar syrup......bcz she dnt lke it
