ABOUT Fruit Cake in Pressure Cooker RECIPE

Rich fruit laden cake.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Maida 2 cups
  2. Powder sugar 2 cups
  3. Butter 100 gms
  4. Eggs 2
  5. Baking powder 1 tsp
  6. Baking soda a pinch
  7. Salt a pinch
  8. Vanilla Essence 1 tsp
  9. Dry fruits, Cashews, Raisins, Tutti Fruti

Instructions

  1. First beat the eggs till frothy.
  2. To this add butter and sugar beat again till sticky.
  3. Add maida and mix well.
  4. Add dry fruits, Vanilla essence, Baking powder and Baking soda. Grease a baking pan and pour in the mixture.
  5. Remove whistle of the cooker and the rubber gasket. Add good amount of salt in the pressure cooker and preheat the cooker.
  6. Place the baking dish in it. Keep on a low flame for an hour.
  7. Fluffy fruit cake is then ready to enjoy.

Well, the first thing I say after seeing this delicious cake is yummy. Secondly, I would love to thank you because you’ve shared edubird for us. I cannot imagine that we can make it in a pressure cooker instead of the oven. The people who don’t have ovens can now also enjoy this yummy and delicious fruit cake.
