Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Semolina ...1 & 1/2 cup
  2. Gram flour....1 & 1/2 cup
  3. Beetroot paste ....5tspn
  4. Spinach paste....5tspn
  5. Mustard seeds...1tspn
  6. curry leaves....10
  7. Eno...2tspn
  8. Curd...1/2cup
  9. Cumin powder....1tspn
  10. Salt to taste
  11. Sugar...1tspn

Instructions

  1. Make a batter of semolina, salt,cumin powder, curd, sugar & water.Keep rest for 10 minutes.
  2. Divide the batter in three portion.Add beetroot & spinach paste & make red & green colour batter.In white batter, add gram flour & mix it well without any lump.
  3. Add eno salt with these batter.
  4. Now grease a cake tin, pour one layer of semolina_gram flour batter.Then pour beetroot batter like the picture.
  5. Then add spinach batter over it.
  6. Finally add semolina_gram flour batter over it.
  7. Heat water in a pan,put a stand & place the dhokla tin on it.
  8. Cover it & steam it for 15 to 20 minutes.
  9. Enter a toothpick ,if it's clear then dhokla is ready
  10. Heat 1 tspn oil & fry mustard seeds & curry leaves.Spread it over the dhokla.
  11. Tasty dhokla is ready to serve.
